.I really miss alfred.

.the snow, the friends, hell even the classes and those goddamn hills.

.I honestly hate being home. It's just like it was before, my parents are the same, the chores are the same, and the crying after fights is the same. I've only been here since friday night and I've already been called names and already been in a fight and already been told i should leave and get someone else to sign my student loans. its sunday night.

.i want alfred back, i want happiness and smiles back, and i want my effing snow.

. I'd rather be at school staying up all night doing homework than at home :(

also

i want a cookie from terra cotta in alfred. really bad.

busses and pomegranates

so i went home for thanksgiving break. it was a visit filled with people arguing about my weight (whether or not i've lost of gained), people telling my mom she should pull me out of school (its none of your goddamn business), drama, visits with relatives I haven't seen in a long time, and long bus rides.

if I thought the near 12 hour bus ride home was bad, try a 15 hour bus ride with an hour wait in Queens and a three hour wait in Binghampton back. never again.

I, Caitlin, hereby solemnly swear I will never take a bus to or from school ever again so help me god.

The only good thing that came out of that hell ride was a short story I wrote:

I've also been uploading a bunch of photos from my trip to England on to dA, I'll probably make my favorites headers here along the way.

now, now it is time for a nap. a nice warm nap.

.so I'm working on my final project for this semester for my freshman foundations class.

.basically, we have this guest artist whose been part of our faculty whose been working on it with us, her name is Lenka Clayton, she's pretty awesome.

.so the project has to be something about the town of Alfred, which is where Alfred University, which is where I go to school, is located.

.and we're making a museum/library in the 'abandoned' davis gym (some sports and medieval club and archery club use it).

.so what I've done is taken pictures of all of the grafitti within Harder Hall, the art school, and I'm currently sorting through them and cropping them and whatnot.

.what I'm going to do after that is make an amalgamate of two past projects: catalogue them and map out where everything was, like stairwells, columns, and so on.

.yeah im special, we were only supposed to use ONE past project ufufufuu.
